Box Score Due West, S.C. – The Erskine Flying Fleet (20-8) got sweet revenge tonight, defeating the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College (19-10) in straight sets 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-22) in the semi-final round of the Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament at Belk Arena.

A week ago the Bobcats handed the Flying Fleet their first conference loss, snapping the Fleet's five game win-streak. 

In the last game, the Bobcats stymied the Fleet attack at the net, recording 15 blocks while deflecting several others that were easily handled by the back row.  This time the Fleet turned the table recording 10 blocks to the Bobcats' 5.5. 

Junior middle hitter Kelly Sullivan (Wellington, FL, Wellington Community High School) led the Fleet with 14 kills and 7 blocks.  Senior outside hitter Caitlin Bullock (Lexington, SC, White Knoll High School) filled the stat sheet with 11 kills, 8 digs, 3 blocks, 2 assists and a service ace.

For the Bobcats, Avalon Liscio and Jariliz Cotte had 11 kills each.

With the win, the Flying Fleet tied their record for most wins in a season at 20 since returning as a varsity sport back in 2009.

Erskine advances to Saturday's championship game where they will face King University.  King University defeated Limestone College 3-1 in the other semi-final game.  Game time is set for 6:30 p.m.
