Due West, SC – Senior shortstop Brandon Overstreet has been selected to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association's Preseason All Region team that was released Friday afternoon.  The organization also released its preseason regional poll in which the Flying Fleet were picked ninth.

Overstreet had an outstanding 2014 season that saw him hit .348 with 12 doubles, 10 home runs and 41 RBI's.  He was a first team All Conference selection as well as second team All Region by the baseball writers.  He finished last season ranked third in the conference in home runs, fourth in runs scored and slugging percentage, fifth in doubles and seventh in hits.

Erskine will open up their season Tuesday February 3^rd against Benedict at 2:00 pm at Grier field.
