Due West, SC – Coming off his 500
th career win, Erskine College baseball coach Kevin Nichols wanted to honor some of the best players to come through the program in his 15 plus seasons. He and his staff sat down and ranked the top 10 hitters and pitchers that have played for the program as well as a few honorable mentions. They also put together an All 500 win team.

"Bryan had the most raw power of any player I have ever seen at any level. His work ethic and strive for excellence was second to none. We are very lucky to have had him in our program."
Bryan was a 2 time All-American, was named the National Player of the year in 2010, and played for the Tampa Bay Rays. Bryan also holds the NCAA record for HR, 2B, Slugging, and RBI's
AVG 2B HR RBI OPS2. Casey Smith (03-05) .448 28 18 83 1.366"Casey actually came in as a highly recruited pitcher and had to make several adjustments swinging the bat. Obviously we made the right choice and let him hit"
Casey was an All-American in 2005, was named National Player of the Year in 2005, and played for the San Diego Padres

Antonio was an All-American in 2005, led the country in doubles in 2005, and played for the Kansas City Royals

Kyle played for the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, and Arizona Diamond Backs. His best year was with the Diamond Backs when he hit .312 31 HR 108 RBI
AVG 2B HR RBI OPS5. Chas Anthony (07-10) .417 29 16 63 1.216"Chas excelled on and off the field all 4 years. Our only 3 Time All-American at Erskine, I will always remember his clutch hits in big games."
Chas is the only 3 Time All-American in Erskine's history and holds the NCAA record for Doubles
AVG 2B HR RBI OPS6. Greg Huff (07-10) .391 25 17 46 1.199"Greg was a fierce competitor on the field and in the weight-room. If he didn't get hurt his Sr. year, I think he would have been in our top 5."
Greg played Independent ball in 2010, was a 3 time All Conference, and All-Region player
AVG 2B HR RBI OPS7. Ben Blumenthal (05) .400 20 13 53 1.188"Anytime you get a very talented catch and throw catcher that can hit, you have a special player. Ben was just that, a player that had all the tools"
Ben played for the Cincinnati Reds and New York Yankees. His best pro year was Ben hit .333 with the Yankees.

"One of my favorite players, JJ was a guy that loved baseball and soaked up information like a sponge. He was always ready and willing to learn."

Anthony was a 3 time All-Conference selection, played professionally for team Italy
