Erskine College Athletics

Grier Field serves as home to the Erskine College baseball team, with demenions of 330 down the right and left field lines, 365 in left and right center field, and 390 to straight away center field.  The field sits down below the tennis courts and has a backdrop of pine trees along the outfield wall.   Grier Field has seen many improvements over the last 11 seasons, including a new professional playing surface, installation of a new drainage system, irrigation system, a new scoreboard, regulation size fence, covered and lighted bull pens and batting cages, and a 5 foot brick wall that surrounds the field.  Also this past summer, the coaching staff ripped up the grass and leveled the infield before laying down new higher quality bermuda sod.
