Due West, SC - Strong defense helped Erskine men's volleyball knock off another conference opponent, Emmanuel, in four (25-19, 25-18, 21-25, 25-19).
Â
Michael Schneck had an impressive night with a season high of 17 digs. This is only one less than a career high of 18 digs against Mount Olive in 2015, but was a 5-set match vs his performance tonight that was accomplished in only 4 sets.Â
Â
David Grandy directed the Fleet offense but also did his part to help the defense by adding 9 digs.
Roberto Perez-Vargas had a match-high and season-high 18 kills in addition to 3.5 blocks. Mike Michelau got his first double-double of the season posting 13 kills with 12 digs and added 1 ace. Omar Melendez and Neal Stanley were a force at the net with 13 and 11 kills, respectively.Â
Â
"They did an amazing job at defense and taking advantage in the second ball opportunities," Erskine head coach Cole Tallman said.  "I'm very proud of them."

The Fleet jump right back into action at home tomorrow night, February 17th, at 7:00pm as they take on the Limestone Saints. Â
